1. About us

These terms apply to services provided by Number One Auto Repair ("#1 Auto Repair," "we," "us") at 525 Southgate Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240, phone (319) 354-3932.

2. Services

We provide vehicle maintenance and repair, including oil changes, brake service, tire service, wheel alignment, diagnostics, and general repair. Service descriptions and prices shown on our website or booking page are general information, not a guaranteed quote for your vehicle.

3. Estimates and authorization

We do not perform repair work without your authorization. An estimate is based on the information available at the time. The final price may differ if inspection reveals additional work, parts, or conditions. If additional work is needed beyond what you authorized, we will seek your approval before proceeding.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices shown as "starting at" are starting prices. The final price depends on the vehicle and the work needed. Payment is due when the work is completed and the vehicle is picked up, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Warranties

Our brake package (new pads and rotors) carries a lifetime warranty, as described at the time of service. Any other warranty will be stated on your invoice or in writing at the time of service. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

6. Vehicle pickup and personal property

Please pick up your vehicle promptly after we notify you that it is ready. Please remove personal belongings from your vehicle before service. We are not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle.

7. Your information

You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle and the problem you are experiencing, so we can diagnose and repair it correctly.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the service at issue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to services performed after the update.
